Closed January 21st.

After much thought and consideration, we have decided the shop will be closed on Saturday, January 21st.  Grasshopper is run by a team of women and participating and standing in solidarity with the Women's March On Portland is incredibly important to us.

We're sorry for any inconvenience this might cause.

We will be open normal hours on Friday (10a-6p)

and Sunday (10a-5p) and hope to see you then!

Supporting Small Business Community Through Bad Weather

While snow can be magical, and staying home can be fun sometimes,

it also puts a strain on small businesses.

To encourage small business shopping and support during these harsh weather conditions, we will be joining dozens of small, local shops (including our sister store, Tumbleweed Boutique) and taking 10% off of all gift certificates.

To find a list of other participating shops, click here

We hope to see you in the shop soon!  Stay safe!

Made in Oregon- Mighty Fun!

Made right here in Portland,

Mighty Fun toys is one of our

newest additions to the shop.

We love the high-quality and

innovativeness of each idea they have brought to life!

Santa is coming! Save the date Dec. 12th

Every year, Santa comes to see us at Grasshopper.
We would love to have you join us

whether it's your first time or you've been coming for many years!

Join us Monday December 12th from 5:30-7:30.

We love this fun and exciting tradition. It's a public and free event!

Some things to remember:
-Be prepared to be patient, our setting is more living room-like and won't include a line
-If your little ones have a hard time waiting, or are very shy in front of others, we recommend coming a bit later in the evening when the crowd has lessened a bit.
--Bring a camera

If you have any questions about the visit, give us a call at the shop 503-335-3131, or email us at hello@grasshopperstore.com
